IoT systems are quite useful for collecting and organizing any type of data with help of IoT platforms and embedded devices. One of the ways by which data can be collected and organized by using SoC ESP32 and IoT Platform Ubidots.
This article covers the code and a guide to using ESP32 to upload data to Ubidots. Data is taken from the sensor GY-BMP280 attached to the ESP32.
Requirements
Note: PubSubClient Library and ArduinoSensor Library also need to be installed as they are dependencies of BMP280 Library and Ubiots ESPMQTTT Library respectively.
Working
BMP280 module provides temperature and pressure values along with the altitude at which the device is at and the current boiling temperature of the water. These values are retrieved from the sensor by using the BMP280 Library and then sent over the internet to Ubidots using UbidotsESPMQTT Library.
Wonderful views on that!
I was just telling my friend about that.
